LEADERSHIP SCOPE

As Co-Founder and Head of Product, I held full P&L responsibility and oversaw all aspects of the business, from product ideation and development to go-to-market strategy, marketing, and strategic partnerships. I reported to and collaborated with the other co-founder, acting as a de facto board of directors, making all key strategic decisions. I led a team of 9-12 individuals, including external employees, designers, R&D specialists, and marketing professionals.

  • Led the development and execution of the company’s overall strategic vision and business plan.
  • Oversaw all product development, from initial concept and formulation to lab testing and manufacturing, ensuring adherence to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Developed and implemented the go-to-market strategy, encompassing digital marketing, social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Managed all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and fundraising.
  • Secured angel investment through direct negotiation and relationship building.

  • Successfully launched a portfolio of innovative, all-natural performance-enhancing products that gained rapid acceptance in the competitive fitness and wellness market.
  • Secured strategic partnerships with high-profile organizations, including YogaWorks, Spartan Race, US Track & Field, US Triathlon, and US Volleyball, demonstrating product efficacy and brand credibility.
  • Built a high-performance team characterized by collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and a strong emphasis on continuous learning and development.
  • Achieved an annual revenue of $160,000 with 60% average growth YoY.
CHALLENGES & RISK MITIGATION
